Majora's mask

So, first off. I turned 21. That was pretty rad. Went to the bar, had some laughs, it was all good. :)
Other than that, I have been playing alot of The Legend of Zelda, Majora's Mask. I havn't played this game in like 7 or 8 years, and man its crazy. I forgot how much darker and creepier this game is than all of the other zelda games, And I'm really enjoying it. The idea is, you are trying to stop the skull kid from having the moon crash into, and destroy the world, and you have three days, in which to stop him. Fortunately you can travel back to the 1st day anytime. There are like a million side missions and whatnot, but I digress. This game feels alot darker than other Zelda games like I was saying before, but I don't quite know how to explain it. Maybe its the ominous moon above you, but I don't know. This game also has alot more to do with the dead than Ocarina of Time. For instance, when you go to the goron village, you meet a goron ghost, and when you visit the zoras, one dies in front of you and you build him a grave.
Now, having this game be the creepiest of them so far, I read up on a supposedly "Haunted Cartridge" of it. It was one of the most awesome things I've ever read. The guy who made it confirmed it was fake. But still an epic read, and the videos he made were pretty creepy (at some points).

Nintendo's 3DS

The new Nintendo "3DS". I think it looks pretty awesome personally, but you decide for yourself. I wasn't too crazy about the wii, but this is a better kind of inovation really. It uses a process called auto-stereoscopy, to aparently create the illusion of the games poping out at you. Basically how this works is, the screen makes to seperate images, one for each of your eyes, and with the two images combined it creates a 3D effect, Almost like an optical illusion. 

Anyway though, this bad boy will be released in Japan sometime in February, so it should be in the states not too long after hopefully.

This is the one game I cannot wait for. It's a remake of Ocarina of time for N64. And it looks beautiful.

Rom Rom Rom

So for the past few days I have been spending all of my time playing roms. N64, game boy advance, Super nintendo, and NES. I love old school video games so much. <3 lol
I miss back in the day when games actually took skill. Back when being a gamer actually meant you were good haha. Snowboard Kids 2, The legend of Zelda, Banjo kazooie, and Pokemon red and blue. All amazing games, that I fear no young kids now adays will ever get the pleasure of playing.

What are you guy's  favorite old school games? And what was your favorite gaming console of all time?

Life update

So, not alot happening here lately.

Today though, my girlfriends family all went to a rehearsal for her sisters wedding. Everyone went except for me, Livia's grandma, and step dad Erick. Now, keep in mind, her grandmother hates me with a passion, for some unknown reason, and Erick is just terribly awkward to be around. Seriously though, her grandmother has threated to other people, that she is going to stab me, and constantly bitches when I am around. And Erick, just isnt a big talker, he just kind of there, and Its always awkward

So for some reason, while I was home with them, Erick invited me to go get pizza with him. Strange, considering I've never spoken more than a few words to him at a time, in the entire 2 years that I have been dating Livia. It started pretty damn awkward, but ended up going alright. I just hate being in awkward situations. Not a good place for me, I never know what to say.

Anyway, we ate, talked, laughed (surprisingly), and it didnt go half bad.

Also, Livia got her student loan check, so we have been looking into cars under 1,300 dollars. If anyone has any shopping advice let me know, it would be much appreciated.

Well, thats my gay ass story for today, didnt have much else to blog about, sorry guys. But I am working on a new blog that should interest you guys, so keep checking in guys.

The blog with no real meaning.

So I really am at a lack for something to do today. The town im in is so boring it isnt even funny, and unfortunately all the games I have been playing are either beaten, or just not fun anymore. But anyway. I was supposed to go to Gettysburg today, to meet up with my recently assigned PO officer, but they rescheduled that, which is fine by me. BUT, what I do want to share with everyone here, is this flash game that kicks lots of ass.

So anyway, watched back to the Future last night, and just wanna say, I love that movie bunches. I hadnt watched it for quite a few years, but it still kicked ass. The first one anyway, not sure about the other two yet.

Anyway, being as I'm very bored, most of the time, you guys need to give me something to do, make some suggestions, (example: games to play, movies to watch) Im open to whatever. Thanks guys!
